FPB [Floor Plan Basic]
$3802D floor plan with birdseye view
A coloured floor plan with basic dimensions will be provided. This will be to scale and have general furniture components shown to identify room use. The birds eye view supplied makes the plan so much easier to interpret. You are now ready to scribble all over the plans and change at your own free will. Simple.
FPP [Floor Plan Plus]
$8502D floor plan with birdseye view, carpet plan, vinyl plan, window schedule, interior wall decorating schedule
With all the features of the FPB option plus loads more.
This option is all about obtaining estimates with ease, so preliminary budgets can be collated. Basic areas of main building components will be quantified, including windows, interior wall linings and floor coverings. Just email this plan through to your suppliers from the comfort of your home and then await their estimates. Simple.
SPB [Site Plan Basic]
$290Site plan, boundaries, house plot
If you already have a section this site plan option will be very helpful.
A site plot with the house plan to scale, you will be able to determine the best possible position of the house. Due consideration can be given to sun angles and outdoor yard sizes can be fully appreciated. Simple.
SPP [Site Plan Plus]
$740Site plan, boundaries, house plot, dimensions, area of coverage, drive, paths and general landscaping plan
Including the features of the SPB and adding a general landscaping layout with drives, paths, fences and garden areas plotted, this option will provide a good insight to your dream finally becoming a reality. Preliminary costings for exterior works and landscaping will be a breeze. Simple.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use ourhouseplan for a Building Consent?
Ourhouseplan provides concept plans for feasibility studies and basic costing exercises, amongst many other uses. Councils will require very detailed full working drawings prior to making a building consent application.
How do I know if ourhouseplan will fit on my section?
ourhouseplan will be provided to scale so you can plot it onto your site plan, or we can provide this service for you – please refer Site Plan Basic [SPB] or Site Plan Plus [SPP].
Can my architect or designer use ourhouseplan concept to prepare full working drawings?
Yes, often designers offer savings when using a concept from ourhouseplan
Can we make changes once ourhouseplan has been provided?
More often than not when a plan is reviewed for the first time, changes spring to mind. Consider the ultimate goal with ourhouseplan, the design might not be spot on, but it’s a great start for collating preliminary budgets, and there will be many options to consider along the way. That’s the beauty of this process; you have time to consider the options.
Do ourhouseplan draw 3D exterior views?
Three Dimensional house views are great, but can be time consuming. ourhouseplan believes the research should be done first, then settle on a roof design and establish a budget before your architect or designer presents the WOW factor of 3D views.
Do ourhouseplan design roofs?
ourhouseplan believes roof designs are very individual and can even be ‘site’ specific. Roof designs can alter the structural design considerably, so it is best left for the full working drawing stage, just let your imagination run wild for a while. But only a little. The possibilities are endless...
Who owns the design/plan provided by ourhouseplan?
ourhouseplan owns the IP including the sole right to continued marketing in any form of any and all designs. ourhouseplan gives you permission to use the plan as many times as you wish, with anyone you wish including architects, designers, surveyors, merchants and the like, at any time. This is restricted to your personal use only and must not be passed on or used by a third party for any reason, whether for commercial gain or not, without prior written approval from ourhouseplan

Want one? the Process
Your Sketch, Design Bref, Confirm Order, Receive Plan
Your Sketch; Draw your outline sketch as per the sample provided. Design Brief; Provide a written design brief by inserting a quantity in the room selection boxes in the order form below. Confirm Order; Upload details and make payment selection. Receive plan; Email notification will be provided confirming receipt of order. Your House Plans will be emailed within 7 days.
Sketch
Be as accurate as possible with the room layout and shape of your home but don’t try to put too much detail in. Please refer to the sample sketch attached for a guide on the minimum criteria needed.
If your home is existing please provide room dimensions including window and door locations with sizes of these. A layout of facilities will be necessary.
Design
Select from the design option(s) from FPB, FPP, SPB or SPP
Then simply add a quantity to the room label boxes, check your desired house size (1) and compare it to the minimum house size (8) that has auto calculated. This is a guide only. Fine tune your design criteria if needed, as many times as you wish. Any special instructions can be added to the box provided.
Confirm Order
Upload your sketch and push the order now button. Simple.
If you have confirmed an order in error, please send an email through the enquiry section within 24 hours to cancel. A response will be sent for both confirmation of an order and cancellation, if applicable. Make your payment selection either 50/50 or full payment (full payment offers a further 10% discount!).
Receive Plans
After the 24 hour cancellation period has passed the order will be registered and processed through to the design team. Plans will be completed within 7 days from confirmation of payment.
If payment is not received within 7 days the job will be cancelled and an invoice will be due for administration and disbursements. Correspondence will be sent in response to all communications, as well as for progress updates. Once full payment has been received, plans will be emailed. Simple.
